Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 20, 2026
This policy explains how Booxmax, Inc. ("Booxmax," "we," "us") handles information when you visit this website and when you work with us. Booxmax is a bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory firm. This policy is general information about our data practices, not legal advice.
Information we collect
We collect only what we need to respond to you and to do the work you engage us for.
- Information you give us. When you contact us, book a call, or become a client, you may provide your name, business name, email, phone number, and details about your business and what you need.
- Client financial information. If you engage us, we handle business financial records (such as bank and credit-card data, payroll, and general-ledger information) as part of the agreed scope of work, under a written engagement.
- Website usage information. Like most websites, we may collect basic, non-identifying usage data (such as pages viewed and general location) to understand how the site is used and to keep it working.
How we use information
- To respond to your inquiry and schedule a conversation.
- To provide the bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services you engage us for.
- To operate, maintain, and improve this website.
- To meet our professional, legal, and recordkeeping obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
Service providers we rely on
We use established third-party tools to run the firm and this site. They process information only to provide their service to us, under their own terms and privacy policies. These include our general-ledger and A/P platforms (such as QuickBooks Online and Bill.com), our secure client portal, our scheduling tool for booking calls, and standard website hosting and analytics providers. We share information with them only as needed to deliver our services.
How we protect information
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect the information in our care, and we limit access to those who need it to do the work. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. [SECURITY-CLAIM: specific encryption/standard claims require partner sign-off before adding.]
Healthcare information
For healthcare clients, we structure our work around financial information and minimize any handling of protected health information (PHI). When PHI is involved, it is handled only by trained team members under appropriate safeguards and a written agreement, and it is never placed into third-party artificial-intelligence tools.
How long we keep information
We keep information for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet professional and legal recordkeeping requirements, then dispose of it securely.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to records we are required to keep. To make a request, email Info@booxmax.com.
California privacy rights
To the extent California privacy law applies to us, California residents may have rights to know, access, correct, and delete certain personal information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell personal information. To exercise a right, contact us at Info@booxmax.com.
Children
This website and our services are intended for businesses, not for children under 13.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "last updated" date above.
